Once your design is approved, your ring is carefully crafted, set, and finished. Production takes 15 business days after final design approval, followed by shipping.

What's the difference between a made-to-order and a custom ring?
A made-to-order ring is based on an existing STDIAM design, with options to personalize the gemstone, metal, size, and other available details.
A custom ring is designed around your individual vision. Whether you're inspired by a particular setting or have something entirely new in mind, we'll help create a design that feels uniquely yours.
Is custom design and CAD drawing free?
Yes. We offer complimentary custom design assistance and CAD drawings, with no additional design or drawing fees.
Your ring is priced according to your chosen gemstones, precious metals, and design details. We'll provide a personalized quotation before production begins.
How long does a custom ring take?
Once your design is finalized and approved, your custom ring enters production. Crafting takes 15 business days from final design approval.
Design discussions and CAD approval take place before production. International shipping is additional and varies by destination.
Can I choose the gemstone and metal for my custom ring?
Absolutely. You can personalize your ring with your preferred gemstone shape, size, precious metal, and setting details.

How does STDIAM's tree-planting initiative work?
Every STDIAM order contributes to our tree-planting initiative in partnership with Tree-Nation.
After your purchase, we'll invite you by email to plant a tree in your own name. We fund one tree for every order, making your purchase meaningful beyond the jewelry itself.
Can I resize my custom ring?
Yes. We offer one complimentary resizing within 60 days of receiving your completed ring, where the design permits.
Our team will first review the setting to ensure the adjustment can be made safely. Customers are responsible for shipping costs in both directions.
What warranty comes with my custom ring?
Every STDIAM custom ring is supported by our aftercare commitment.
Our gemstones are backed by a lifetime gemstone warranty, while the ring setting carries a 2-year craftsmanship warranty.
