My hubby bought me the 1 ct Moissanite Princess cute engagement ring I picked out. I had the choice of the simulated diamond or the moissanite, so, I choice the moissanite. So glad I did bc it's absolutely stunning. He bought the twisted band as well. Well, roughly 4-5 months later, I wanted another "twisted band" to make the ring look a little wider on my finger. Basically, I sandwiched my engagement ring between the two bands. Well, the one I bought was cheaper bc I went with the "simulated" diamond. BIG mistake bc at first you couldn't see the difference in the shine of the stones BUT NOW, several months of wearing the 3 consistently, you can definitely tell the one I bought. The "diamonds" are so dull compared to the moissanite rings. They are still just as sparkly as the day he bought them. I wish I went with the moissanite....I'll be purchasing the moissanite band soon...sometimes it pays off to spend the extra money. Saving a few bucks only caused me to spend more money in the long run...lol.
